Are You Playing Genetic Roulette?

How are GMOs made? One of the main principles of mindful eating is to choose your food wisely. Are you playing genetic roulette by letting GMO foods into your diet? GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organisms.

Did you know that one of the major causes of obesity today is from eating GMO foods? 70% of processed foods in the grocery store today contain GMOs.

GMOs are believed to be killing livestock by the thousands and causing many chronic diseases like cancer, birth defects, infertility, allergies, and autism, to name a few.

Many doctors around the world are prescribing a non-GMO diet to their ill patients and they begin to feel better within weeks, including kids with severe allergies and even autism!

Experiments with rats indicate that gross cancers are formed when they are fed GMOs.

Animals given a choice between non-GMO food and GMO food choose non-GMO food. Shouldn’t you?

The FDA and Monsanto are in cahoots to insure that GMOs are here to stay. The VP of Monsanto is now the head of a section of the FDA!

Jeffrey Smith, founder of the Institute for Responsible Technology, says,

GMO: Genetically modified organisms. They take genes from one species and force it into the DNA of another species. And they can mix and match between species that have never normally mated. So they have spider genes that they have put into goats, in the hopes that they can milk the goat to get spider web protein to make bulletproof vests. I’m not making this up. They’ve taken cow genes and put them into pigs, so that the pigs have cowhides. They’ve taken human genes and put them into corn to make spermicide. And for the food we eat, there [are] two main categories: the herbicide-tolerant crops—they can spray them with herbicide and not kill them; or the pesticide-producing crops that produce their own toxic insecticide, that if a bug bites those plants, it breaks open their stomach and kills them.

So they’re completely swapping genes between the normal species barriers, creating new
organisms that were not part ofthe evolutionary process.

It is essential that you watch this movie and tell your friends about it!

So what can you do about GMOs?

Non-GMO Project

  1. Buy organic foods when possible.
  2. Encourage your political representatives to pass a bill requiring GMO labeling. Prop 37 failed in California, but that is not the end of the story. Now, 26 states are looking at GMO labeling.
  3. Buy foods that are labeled with the Non-GMO project label.
  4. Support the Institute for Responsible Technology and the Non-GMO Project.
  5. Attend rallies in your area to support GMO product labeling.
  6. Get your free copy of Weight Loss Guided Meditation and learn about mindful eating.

Your help is urgently needed to help spread the word about GMOs to save life on earth as we know it.

How are you helping your family avoid GMOs? What will you do to help other people learn about GMOs?
