Jon Kabat-Zinn Talks On Life “Just As It Is”

Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn is the founder of the  Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society and the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts.

He is famous for creating the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program which is now all over the world. This program teaches people from all walks of life and all religious beliefs a form of mindfulness meditation.  This form of meditation has been scientifically verified by researchers like Dr. Richie Davidson and others.

The short video below is from one of Dr. Kabat-Zinn’s talks at the Omega Institute. In this brief segment, he asks us, “What if you already are complete?” What if we could live our lives just as it already is?

One of my daily meditation practices includes the following verse:

I experience love, joy, wonder and wisdom in this life, just as it is!
