Music for Zen Meditation

The simplest form of Zen meditation is to do the following:

  1. Find a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Begin by taking 3 deep breaths to help you settle into meditation.
  3. Now breathe mindfully in and out. Start with the count of 1 and count your in breaths until you get to 10.
  4. When you get to 10, start over.
  5. If you lose tract and your mind wanders off, start the count over again.
  6. Do not worry if your mind wanders of, simply bring it back to your breathing.
