Stress Reduction with Mindfulness

Jon Kabat-Zinn founded Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the University of Massachusetts more than 30 years ago. Thousands of people have been through the program and the results are very positive.

The program consists of yoga exercises and stress reduction with mindfulness. There is no mention of Buddhism.

Initially, the program was directed towards people in the hospital, but now the practices are taught everywhere.

This video is from his talk at Google on October 11, 2007 – the day Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh turned 81.
