What Happened To Medical Choice?

When I had bladder cancer more than sixteen years ago, I was told that the “gold standard” of medical treatment for this type of cancer was radical cystectomy.  This is a surgical procedure that removes the cancerous bladder and replaces it with an artificial bladder. One of the surgeons I consulted said, “It’s a piece of cake!”

There was obviously no medical choice in the case until my dear friend, Dr. Sara Huang, the head of Radiation Oncology at a major San Francisco hospital, informed me of Dr. William U. Shipley’s bladder sparing protocol. This became my treatment of choice. You can read more about it in Stop Cancer In Its Tracks: Healthy Cells Grow All By Themselves.

When I consulted with Michael Broffman at the Pine Street Clinic he offered several alternative options, many of which I immediately implemented. One option he mentioned that I did not immediately pursue was Gerson Therapy.

Gerson Therapy was the brainchild of Dr. Max Gerson (1881-1959). It has been severely repressed by the medical establishment and is not allowed in the United States. What happened to medical choice?

This is especially important today as the “vicious triangle” – fossil fuels, food production, and pharmaceuticals – is influencing much of our lives.

Since Gerson Therapy is based on fresh fruits and vegetables, there is no profit to be made by the pharmaceutical industry. We have therefore lost at least one avenue of medical choice.

Current research in Japan, Holland, and Spain are confirming the benefits of Gerson Therapy.

I leave it to you, dear reader, to watch the video and voice your own opinion about Gerson Therapy.

Why is this powerful curative therapy still suppressed, more than 75 years after it was clearly proven to cure degenerative diseases?
