The essence of Buddhism is to achieve freedom from wrong perceptions and fear. We do this by meditation practices which help us to gain insight into the world as it really is. Along with this comes the knowledge of interbeing – that all things in the universe are interrelated. Nothing exists by itself, alone.

These teachings are profound and obtainable in this life once you adopt the correct view. You then develop wisdom and compassion which manifests as loving kindness and equanimity.
