Baba Ram Dass was Dr. Richard Alpert of Harvard University in his early life.
What he said in his famous book, Be Here Now in the 1960’s is totally relevant today.

When my wife was young, she spent time on retreat with Baba Ram Dass. She has repeated told people what he said to her.
She wanted him to be her guru. He said, “You are your own guru and you don’t even know it.”
She’s been looking inside herself ever since.
