Lazy Days In Plum Village

Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh offered a retreat for Israelis and Palestinians at the Plum Village monastery in France.

He is well-known for his efforts to bring reconciliation between differing parties, and this retreat was no exception.

Previous retreats were held between Israelis and Palestinians. In the beginning of the retreat, they didn’t trust each other. By the end of the retreat, they were hugging each other.

The recipe for such a significant transformation is deep listening, loving speech, and mutual understanding.

This video comes from a series of 11 videos for the first day of the retreat.

Thich Nhat Hanh talks about lazy days in Plum Village and picnics.

I think you will enjoy watching it!

Having been to Plum Village two times, I have experienced lazy days.

On a lazy day to try hard not to do anything!

When was the last time you tried to do nothing? Please share.
