I listened to part of an interview yesterday with Diana Kottle. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and a certified FasterEFT advanced practitioner, level 4 (whatever that means!).
FasterEFT is a form of faster EFT. EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. This technique is based on the tapping methods we have reported on recently. You’ll find many of them in the tapping articles at the bottom of this post.
To refresh your (and my) memory, the tapping points are
- Top of the head
- Eyebrow
- Side of the eye
- Under the eye
- Under the nose
- Chin
- Collar bone
- Under the arm
- Wrist
Tapping is like an emotional massage. The idea of tapping is to release negative emotions stored in your body.
The fast tapping points are
- Between the eyes
- Side of the eyes
- Under the eyes
- Collar bone
- Grab your wrist
By using tapping techniques, we can get to the bottom of our emotional life. We can figure out where a certain emotion comes from and eliminate it at the source.
In the interview, Diana talked about creating your freedom list – whatever your want freedom from.
She said that we need to find out how big the problem is and then aim at the problem.
My favorite quote in the part I was able to attend was, “What the mind thinks, the body follows.”
My limited experience with tapping is enough to recommend that you try it. I have had some success and you probably will too!
