The Love Of A Parent For A Child

Today is the last day of Chanukah. We don’t celebrate much but tonight we’ll have latkes (potato pancakes) and brisket.

About ten days ago, my daughter and I completed a six week class on Kabbalah at Chabad House in San Rafael, California. Kabbalah is school of Jewish mysticism.

My life for the past 40+ years has been focused on my children. Their love for me and my love for them has inspired me to be a good father.

So it is not only the a mother’s love, as portrayed in this video that is important. A father’s love is just as meaningful.

The video is from Chabad, a Jewish organization that promotes Jewish education in the Kabbalah.

I am very grateful that my three children are living happy and meaningful lives.

I consider myself lucky that I didn’t have much to worry about my children.

If you are a parent, what do you have to say about your love for your child or children?

If you are a child, what do you have to say about your love for your parents?
