Both Marty Rossman in his book, The Worry Solution and Lissa Rankin in her Daily Flame for your inner pilot light teach us to change what we can and not worry about things we cannot change. Lissa writes,

The world is full of people trying to change the things they can’t, and not trying to change the things they can.
But you don’t need to be one of them.
Give this a try, darling.
Focus on trying to change the things you can. Let go of trying to change the things you can’t.
And trust that I’ve got everything else handled.
You’ll be amazed how much easier you’ll breathe when you’re not spinning your wheels and trying to beat down brick walls (not to mix metaphors).
When you change the things you can and surrender the things you can’t, you create space in your life for more joy, more expansiveness, less stress, and less resentment.
Then . . . before you know it, miracles happen.

I find myself worrying about how to make this site more useful and popular and change the way people perceive it, but nothing I do seems to help it catch on.
