Mindful Mentoring is a chance to explore your practice in a safe and supportive way. It’s not just about learning techniques — it’s about being heard, understood, and guided with care. Together we look at practices that can bring more peace, joy, and compassion into your daily life.

Your mentor brings knowledge of mindfulness practices, generosity, humility, and more than 40 years of experience. Sessions are grounded in ethics, compassion, and authenticity.
My role is to create a welcoming space, encourage your growth, and help you integrate mindfulness into daily life. I listen deeply, support your wisdom, and keep our conversations private.
You are also invited to join the weekly Mountain Sangha, a community gathering that has been meeting since 2009.
Compassionate listening and loving speech are at the heart of our practice. As mindfulness grows, we find new ways to transform suffering and live with kindness, joy, and freedom.
Sessions
Join me for one‑hour sessions of Mindful Mentoring. We begin with introductions and a clarity session to understand your needs. At your request, we can also include guided imagery training. Sessions are offered on a sliding scale — no one is turned away for lack of funds.

About Your Teacher
Jerome Freedman, PhD, CMT is a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and Mentor trained with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. He is also a certified enneagram teacher, trauma‑sensitive practitioner, and cancer survivor since 1997. Jerome brings over 50 years of experience teaching relaxation and mindfulness. He has led the Mountain Sangha community since 2009.
He is the author of six books including How to Use Mindfulness to Be Happy and Healing with the Seven Principles of Mindfulness.
