Releasing Your Fears

“With each day comes a new chance for you to unlearn all the fearful things that you have learned; to replace your fears with love, and your sorrows with laughter; to let go of everything that no longer serves you and to put your faith in love once more.” ~ Luminita D. Saviuc, 15 Things You Should Give Up to Be Happy

REMINDER: Today’s happiness theme is about “releasing your fears.” When was the last time you looked beyond your fears and did something you thought you couldn’t do? It can be anything, big or small, it doesn’t matter.

EXERCISE: Close your eyes, take three deep cleansing breaths, and imagine yourself walking by the side of a river carrying an old and heavy sack on your back – this sack contains all your fears, doubts and insecurities.

Place the sack down, and whenever you’re ready, start taking out your fears, one by one.

Place them graciously in the river and watch them float away.

Once you’ve release all your fears, imagine a luminous liquid light pouring down on you, cleansing you of any trace of fear that’s still left in you.

Feel how every cell of your body is being filled with light, love, courage and confidence…

Stay in this space as much as you need to, and when you’re ready, take three deep cleansing breaths, and bring back the feelings of love, courage and confidence.

Congratulations!

You have completed the exercise for the day 🙂
