What are Your Options?

The second principle of mindfulness in healing and living attempts to answer the question, “What are your options?”

In Healing with the 7 Principles of Mindfulness, I call this investigate alternatives.

Whether you are embarking on a new career, creating a job for yourself in your own business, planning a wedding, or seeking treatment for a health issue, it is very important to investigate alternatives and find out what options are out there for you and the project you are passionate about.

This includes deciding on your goal – whether it is to make a million dollars or get treatment for your bum shoulder.

Once you have your goal in mind, you sit down and map out the steps it will take to make that goal happen – one by one.

Finally, and most importantly, you need to take action towards achieving your goal.

If you are facing a health crisis, you will find out there a magical world of alternative therapies that will further you healing and give you a sense of well-being on your path to wellness, in addition to what your doctor is offering you.

To name a few of the alternatives, you should consider acupuncture, homeopathy, faith healing, massage and body work, guided imagery, and yes, even medical marijuana.

When I had cancer in 2014, all of these helped me cope with a difficult diagnosis and provided me with much needed opportunities to go inside myself and feel better.

I am now cancer free, so something worked, and I did not ignore the advice of my oncologist.

There is much more information about this in Healing with the 7 Principles of Mindfulness so stay tuned for a special offer on how you can obtain it.
